Customer: Excuse me. Could you tell me where I can find black shoes for man in size eight and a half?
Shop Assistant: Certainly, sir. They are in aisle 3, on the bottom shelf, on your left.
Customer: And where can I find trainers in my size?
Shop Assistant: Trainers are in aisle 2, on your right, sir.
Customers: Excuse me. I’ve tried these trainers on, and they are a bit big for me. Haven’t you got the same brand in a smaller size?
Shop Assistant: Certainly, sir. I’ll be back in a tick. Well, I’ve found a pair in our store room.
Customer: Oh, great! Can I try them on?
Shop Assistant: Yes, of course.
Customer: Thank you. I think I’ll have them. And I’ll come back for the black shoes with my wife next week.

Husband: Yes, did you know that Barker is one of the oldest shoe companies in England?
Wife: I see. And how do you like this one here? ‘In a world where pace is ever increasing, Barker shoes reassuringly take 6-8 weeks to make.’
Husband: Well, this why I like Barker shoes. You know, they are so English!
