A fontos törzsvásárló üdvözlése
Greeting an Old Customer
Saleswoman (on the market): Good morning, Mrs Taylor. Good to see you again!
Mrs Taylor: Good morning, Mrs Gatsby. The courgettes you recommended last time were just great.
Saleswoman: I’m glad to hear that. We’re having a very good year. Well then, here you are your usual 20 eggs. What vegetables would you like? If you take my advice, you’ll definitely go for the beans. They are the first this year. They are fresh and crispy. They’re never going to be as fresh as they are now.
Mrs Taylor: Give me 2 pounds of them, then.
Saleswoman: Here you go. Would you like to take some peaches, too? I know your husband loves them. They are as sweet as honey. Just try one.
Mrs Taylor: Oh no, no, Mrs Gatsby.
Saleswoman: Come on, go for it. You can say no if you don’t like it.
Mrs Taylor: Mhhh… sweet, soft and juicy. Archie will love it.
Saleswoman: How much may I give?
Mrs Taylor: About 3 pounds, please.
Saleswoman: Here you go. Do you need any help with your basket?
Mrs Taylor: Thanks, I’ll manage. See you next week then, Mrs Gatsby.
Saleswoman: See you, Mrs Taylor

Assistant: Good afternoon, Mr Benwick, how are you?
Customer: Good, thanks. How about you, Mr Styles?
Assistant: Not bad, not bad. How is last month’s fridge working?
Customer: Great. I am thankful for your advice. It is really cost-efficient.
Assistant: I’m glad to hear that. What can I do for you now?
Customer: Well, I’d need an electronic oven for my restaurant. You know the Bosh 563 one. I saw it in your catalogue.
Assistant: That is a really good make, Mr Benwick. It bakes very evenly. But I am afraid I’ll have to make you wait. It is temporarily out of stock now. Is it urgent for you? I can hasten the delivery a little.
Customer: No, don’t bother. When do the new supplies arrive?
Assistant: Within a week for sure. I can give you a call when it has arrived.
Customer: That would be great. Do you have my number?
Assistant: Of course I do.
Customer: I’m looking forward to your call then.
Assistant: I’ll call as soon as the Bosh 563 arrives.
Customer: Thanks a lot, Mr Styles.
Saying Goodbye to an Old Customer
Assistant: Is that all for now, Mrs Elliot?
Mrs Elliot: Yes, Mrs Rose. I guess I am at my money’s end. But this dress is really beautiful.
Assistant: It looks great on you. May I call your attention to next month’s sale on leather bags? We are going to sell out the complete winter collection.
Mrs Elliot: Thanks, I hope I’ll have enough money for a cute little black leather handbag.
Assistant: Well, if worst comes to worst, we can always put it aside for you as long as you wish.
Mrs Elliot: Thanks a lot.
Assistant: It’s just natural for such a faithful customer as you are, Mrs Elliot.
Mrs Elliot: Oh, you always sell things I can’t resist. Not to mention your kindness.
Assistant: Thank you, Mrs Elliot. I hope to see you next month.
Mrs Elliot: Bye!
